Mrs. Porter has received the "Who's Who in American Teachers" award.
Frances Porter states that the most important lesson that every child should learn is "to follow directions, so that a child will develop the habit of following God's directions." Frances's technique in teaching is "to have a structured environment with lots of love and encouragement." Her inspirational thought is "You can't change the circumstances, but you can change your attitude." Mrs. Porter's favorite scripture reference is found in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans that I have for you, 'declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We appreciate her hard work and dedication to teaching students at Northwest Christian School.
