Please read carefully before you make the choice to participate in the program.

I Agree To:

1. Participate as a Parent Aide in the classroom or nursery at least twice a month during the Early Education year. This is to ensure low adult/child ratios. Parent Aides will make possible the daily, individual attention that your child needs. Dads, moms and even grandparents can be shared among all of our classes and are eagerly included in all of our learning adventures. If you would like to aide more than twice a month you will receive a $10.00 credit per additional session.

2. Obtain a current TB skin test (this is a State Health Requirement; the test must be within the last 12 months.) I understand that a TB test will be available at the Parent Participation Workshop for approximately $15.00. This money is paid that night to the independent company performing the test.

3. Arrange a substitute for myself or the person participating for me (grandparent, etc.) if I am unable to be there. It is understood that I am to notify the Director if I am unable to make a trade. If you have to cancel your scheduled time to aide, it is your responsibility to reschedule a make-up day DURING THE SAME MONTH. If you don’t reschedule you will only receive a $10.00 tuition credit for the month.

4. Attend the Parent Participation Workshop in the fall. This workshop will cover my responsibilities in the classroom and give me a chance to experience typical Early Education activities.

Please return with your child’s Early Education application. If you have already turned in your application and wish to aide, please sign and return as soon as possible.
