“Where FAITH and EXCELLENCE
are Inseparable”
High School:
Northwest Christian High School is a school that is rich in tradition and history. Here at NCS we are committed to providing an education that is Christ centered, biblically-based, and academically rigorous to our students. We want our students to be prepared both spiritually and academically to face the challenges of their world. Our teachers are committed to educating our students to serve Christ, serve each other, and serve their community.
This year our school wide theme is “P.L.U.G.”, which stands for Peer Level Unlimited Grace. The school wide verse comes from Ephesians 4:32 which says, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ God forgave you”(NIV). Through this verse Paul calls the Ephesians to love one another. He goes on in chapter 5 and instructs them to be imitators of God and to live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave his life for us, so then we should love each other. This is our theme this year for our students: to be kind, to be compassionate, and to learn to forgive one another. Christ paid the ultimate price for us and he has called us to follow his example of undeserved grace and love in our relationships and in our community. Everything we do this year will be centered on this theme of grace.
It is an honor and a privilege to serve as principal of NCS. It is a rewarding position because I get to see God molding and challenging students to use their God-given potential to make a difference in our world. As we continue through our school year, I look forward to what God has planned for NCS as we continue to grow deep, lasting roots of faith and perseverance in our students.
Blessings,
