NCS Foreign Language Department
In the book of Genesis, chapter eleven verse one, we read that "the whole earth used the same
language and the same words." Presently, there are more than five thousand languages spoken
around the world. At NCS, we offer the opportunity to learn both a spoken foreign language and
a silent language: Spanish and Sign Language, with the understanding that one day these may be
used not only in the business world, but also as a ministry tool to reach those brothers and
sisters whose primary language is either Spanish or Sign Language.
It is our prayer and hope that the study of these languages will allow the students to clarify
and strengthen their own beliefs and to attain a greater understanding and intimate view of true
Christianity.
