NCS  Bible  Department

The Bible instructors at Northwest Christian are commitment to teach the Bible as it is, the inspired Word of God. We are convinced that the sacred Scriptures are authored by God and are the product of men moved by the Holy Spirit. The original autographs were perfect and without error. The Scriptures have been faithfully preserved through the ages, are totally true and trustworthy, and are authoritative in all matters. This written revelation from God is the supreme standard by which we learn to judge all issues in this life and gain the truth for salvation unto eternal life.

The Bible program seeks to honor our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Bible curriculum follows a pattern of instruction from 7th grade through senior graduation. A foundation is laid in hermeneutics, biblical literature, biblical history, biblical doctrine and theology, and systematic theology with an emphasis upon apologetics.

The Scripture memorization program is a six year integrated system which reflects the content sequence of each course.

The students are encouraged to be active in their local evangelical churches as workers for the Kingdom of God. The chapel program, community service hours, and short-term mission projects are opportunities for application of classroom instruction.
